**Update:- All skins have now been updated to 4.1.1

Today vBulletin 4.1.1 was released, i am now in the process of upgrading our skins and fixing all known bugs that have come to my attention.

I will update this post when each skin is updated.

Current vBulletin skins updated for 4.1.1:

  • BP-Black & BP-Black series 2
  • BP-White & BP-White series 2
  • BP-Grey & BP-Grey series 2
  • BP-Light & BP-Light series 2
  • Future
  • Eloquent
  • Hazard
  • BlueSteel
  • USFTECH
  • Business
  • bTech **Added new 4 new colors**
Also please note member profiles still ignore the stylevars in 4.1.1 but you can set the default profile style by following the attachment in this post.
As i dont think vBulletin will be fixing this i found a way to set the CSS per style for your member profile pages. Click the link below for more info:

vBulletin 4.1.1 has more changes than 4.0.8 to 4.1.0.. lol but from looking at the stylevars alot of the bugs have been fixed which is great news.

Unfortunately it looks like the member profiles are still ignoring the stylevars and need to be changed using the 'Customize my profile' feature on the profile pages.

Hi Sean, so upgrading to 4.1.1 will not really break anything skinwise??

Hey mate, it depends on how many modifications you have made. There is like 3 times more changes from 4.1.0 to 4.1.1 than there was from 4.0.8 to 4.1.0... lol

Also releasing bTech with the new colors mate ;)

Updating using a pretty customized Future Black worked like a charme (test site only so far, live site tomorrow). Just a few templates needed to be confirmed (open and save). Header and footer need some more attention, but actually just saving them works fine as well. Nothing got broken :-). I also had to add the folder images/misc/userprofile which I was missing somehow (added this to the Future/misc folder as well).

However I have to say that I am not using or intending to use the Flexible URL mapping. If you wish so, you will probably have some more work to do.

Looks like this time updating is not making me want to bite into my desktop... ;-). Yet!

Awesome mate, glad this update was not too much headache for you.

The userprofile image was added in 4.0.8 i believe.

Hey Sean, Hope all is well. Thanks for staying on top of what seems like monthly updates from vB. Must be a royal PITA. It's appreciated man.

My upgrade went flawlessly. The only template that wasn't automatically merged was the header. The following is what the version comparisons are:

Your Customized Value <div><a name="top" class="logo-image"><img src="{vb:stylevar titleimage}" alt="{vb:raw vboptions.bbtitle}" /></a></div>
Old Default Value <div><a name="top" href="{vb:raw vboptions.forumhome}.php{vb:raw session.sessionurl_q}" class="logo-image"><img src="{vb:stylevar titleimage}" alt="{vb:rawphrase x_powered_by_vbulletin, {vb:raw vboptions.bbtitle}}" /></a></div>
New Default Value <div><a name="top" href="{vb:link forumhome}" class="logo-image"><img src="{vb:stylevar titleimage}" alt="{vb:rawphrase x_powered_by_vbulletin, {vb:raw vboptions.bbtitle}}" /></a></div>

Not sure where this issue lies but my header image looks perfectly fine across my site. Not sure what to do from here...

Oh I haven't uploaded the new skin version yet. Custom changes to that template.... ? Well, you know me already and my brain can't even remember yesterdays lunch (probably chicken though). But I don't think I made any custom changes to the header except for some mod/addons.

By the way does it matter which BP-Black I use? I have both the first and second set. I believe there's a black in each one.

You dont always need to upload my new XML files, if you have the knowledge you can update the templates yourself using the compare tool.

The black version of BP-Black for both packages are the same.

That's cool. I figured I could just replace the old line of code with the new one. If that's all there is to do that is...

That is the only change needed mate, the other changes would have been down automatically when upgrading.
