All of our vBulletin 4.1.8 skins will work perfectly for 4.1.9 as this update was targated for the mobile style and no stylevar and CSS changes were needed

We are now in the progress of updating our skins for vBulletin 4.1.8

Visit this link for the Official vBulletin Announcement

There has been a few stylevar changes in 4.1.8 so I highly suggest if your upgrading your forum to download the latest skin package from your client area:

This update will fix all editor problems, because now the stylevars can be used to style the editor which is great.

Hey Sean,

Just replied to ticket but thought I might post here as well.

I applied the 1.4.8 updated theme but it borks the wysiwyg editor in quick reply and advanced view.

I tried another 100% vanilla vb install and its all fine but as soon as I install theme the editor breaks :o

Cheers

Final skin updates will be released today, skins like bTech and Seamus and Future needed the editor to be completely reverted for the new stylevars.

You must have a plugin that is effecting this as I have tried this on multiple boards I have upgraded for customers in the past few days without problems. Please send me your login information via the support ticket.

Currently working on the last few skins. Future, Business, BP-Light and BP-Grey and then the free skins BP-Brown and Business.

There is a lot of changes in this version, probably at least 3-4 times as much as previous updates so the updates are taking a little more time to complete.

Hi Sean,

Since the update, I have this error:

Quote

bTechBlue editor.css
Default Template Updated in vBulletin 4.1.8 Beta 1 by vBulletin Solutions
Your Custom Template Last Edited in vBulletin 4.1.7 by Sean
The attempted merge failed due to conflicts

Any way to fix this?

Thanks,
Ryan

Hey rhorman,

Looking at this line:

Quote

Your Custom Template Last Edited in vBulletin 4.1.7 by Sean

Seems you have not uploaded the 4.1.8 updated package, but the stylevars now control the editor so it is safe to revert the editor.css template.

Please note this is not a support thread use the support desk or support forum for support questions please.

Sean, are you planning to update the darkness vb4 version to 4.1.8? I use this one as the default skin on my site.

Great work on the bTech skin updates. Easily the best forum skins around.

having some trouble with these, or just taking longer than expected? i tried updating on a test site to vb4.1.8 and the darkness theme had all kinds of issues.

Releasing Darkness today, there was some bugs which I had to pretty much redo most of the header and footer templates.
